This book helped me get into Cornell Medical PA program. This was my first choice, and I couldn't have done it without this book.
Required reading for any prospective PA student September 7, 1999 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I firmly this believe this book was responsible for my getting accepted in to my PA program. This book gives you an insider's point of view into the admissions process. Find out what the programs are looking for and why. Buy this book and give yourself an edge over the competition.
Great esp for interview prep November 14, 2005 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
As a re-applicant I know most of this info. but for someone just beggining the process of trying to get into PA school then this is the only book for you (actually it is the only book on the subject out there). The interview stuff really helps but the essays are too long as CASPA only allows one to have a 500 word limit and Rodican's examples are unrealistic for this applicaiton format.
THE book to get into PA School! July 23, 2001 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is THE book you need to get into the PA school of your choice. My choice was the Stanford University Primary Care Associate Program (PCAP). I read this book, followed it's recommendations, read it again/used it as a reference, applied to one program, and was accepted... to the school of MY choice. If you have determined that a career in medicine as a PA is what you want to do, get this book, use it, and get into the school of YOUR choice!
Wouldn't have been accepted without it. August 27, 1999 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
This book was excellent. I had no idea where to begin with applying to PA Grad school and this book definately did the trick. It helps with the application, essays, and interviews. It was great and I highly recommend it.
