Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Thanks to these CDs, I got an A without opening the casebook   January 9, 2009
These CDs are excellent. I listened to them 2-3 times during the semester while driving in the car. I managed to get an A on the closed-book exam without ever reading the casebook (Waltz & Park). I just used these CDs, plus the Law in a Flash cards, and I read a classmate's Legalines the day before the exam. I did attend class and take notes. The mnemonics were a lifesaver on my closed-book exam. I will definitely be using them on the bar!

5 out of 5 stars Goode is Great!   December 24, 2008

This is an evidence tape done right! Professor Goode gives the black letter law in as clear and concise a manner as possible, cites the Federal Rule number, explains it, gives an example or two, and then summarizes the rule before moving onto the next one. He throws in the right amount of policy discussion for good measure--just enough to be useful for essay writing, but not so much as to overwhelm the task of issue spotting. To top it all off, he even (almost) sounds like Sam Waterston of Law & Order fame. Perfect! Any student taking evidence law should give this one a try.
