Product Description Things are finally looking up for defense attorney Mickey Haller. After two years of wrong turns, Haller is back in the courtroom. When Hollywood lawyer Jerry Vincent is murdered, Haller inherits his biggest case yet: the defense of Walter Elliott, a prominent studio executive accused of murdering his wife and her lover. But as Haller prepares for the case that could launch him into the big time, he learns that Vincent's killer may be coming for him next.
Enter Harry Bosch. Determined to find Vincent's killer, he is not opposed to using Haller as bait. But as danger mounts and the stakes rise, these two loners realize their only choice is to work together.
Bringing together Michael Connelly's two most popular characters, The Brass Verdictis sure to be his biggest book yet.

Audio 12cds 11 hrs 22 min HARRY BOSCH AT HIS BEST October 15, 2008 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
Harry Bosch's job is to be the truth in a place where everybody lies. Harry believes Cops lie, Lawyers lie, Witnesses lie and Victims lie. A trial is a contest of lies and everyone in the courtroom including the judge knows this. Harry sitting at the defense table has to wait and then rip the case open and spill the truth out into the open.
Harry is determined to find Vincent's killer, he has called in Haller to help but both their lives are at risk and the danger mounts.
I finished listening it this in one day I was carried away engrossed in the suspense and nothing else around me mattered. Harry Bosch wow love you in Michael Connelly's books.
The lawyer and the cop December 18, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Connelly writes well, and his characters and plot have substance, especially for his genre. One cannot help but be absorbed by the storyline and with anticipation look forward to the denouement. Even when the unravelling is something of a letdown, perhaps implausible or contrived, this reader still feels that the ride has been worthwhile. Obviously, Connelly has captured me, and I look forward to his next novel.
the brass verdict November 3, 2008 As always, Michael Connelly weaves a masterful tale. I have ordered the cd and the hardcover. Fast paced, informative and he has fed our Harry Bosch need by including him in this story. I like Haller but I still love Bosch.
Better and Better November 5, 2008 I've listened to most of Michael Connelly's books, liked them all. He just gets better and better. This story has a number of plot twists and turns that keeps you guessing right up to the end, then, when you think you've heard it all, you get more surprises. Very entertaining, and overall I'd rate this very high. A very good read.
I want to read more The Lincoln lawyer series books! December 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I discovered Michael Connelly books some years ago when I got one of his audio books from the library. I like his books very much, and have listened everything I could find in the library. Not too much. So I start collecting his audio from Amazon and Barnes & Noble. The Brass Verdict is the second of The Lincoln lawyer series books and this is my favorite. I hope that Michael Connelly will continue this series.
