I am in my last year of undergraduate Spanish (grammar and syntax), and this wonderful reference tool has been tremendously helpful. When I can't find a word in any of my Spanish dictionaries or RAE online, this book has it, and much more - it's like having a mini-encyclopedia on hand as well. It has a section devoted to famous quotes and proverbs,another on great works and wonders of the world, another on famous people and places, a section of maps (South and Central America), and lots of beautiful photos and drawings. It's weight is the only drawback = an additional 4-5 pounds in your backpack.
